Hampden Arms
We at the Hampden Arms are a real honest country pub in South Heighton who are offering good food and drink to both locals and visitors. You can be assured of a warm welcome when you come here, we even welcome dogs. We have a friendly and often lively atmosphere, keeping the values of a traditional village pub very much alive. We have also become renowned for being a great weekend music venue, attracting customers far and wide.
We have a great selection of beers and ales some of which are locally sourced and change quite regular. We also have a variety of good refreshing wines, spirits and ciders for you to sample too. As for our food menu, we have something for everyone from Sunday roasts and curries to bangers & mash. Good hearty meals made fresh, using (where possible) locally sourced produce.
We hold fantastic weekend music events and quiz nights! We have for your enjoyment: a Pool Table, Darts Board, Sussex Toads, Juke Box with huge selection of songs, a TV (no Sky Sport at present) and a No Fruit Machine! In winter you can relax by our log fire or in our lounge area whilst in summer you can sit outside in our good sized beer garden or our heated, covered smoking area. We are even home to the South Heighton Bonfire Society.
