The Lodge at Winchelsea is the perfect venue for any event party, wedding or meeting. The contemporary restaurant is open 7 days a week serving a wide range of delicious dishes suiting all tastes & budget. We can cater for 75 for a formal meal or 120+ for a buffet or our private function room is available for smaller parties of up to 40. Situated between Rye & Hastings, The Lodge offers its guests the perfect base to explore the beautiful 1066 countryside and historic sites. Walking routes surround the Lodge, including the 1066 Country Walk, which runs from Pevensey Castle via Battle Abbey to Rye. The Old Priory dates back to the 1600s and is a listed building that has been lovingly restored inside and out, with a feeling of comfort and old world charm. All rooms have been tastefully coordinated in every way in a decorative nature and comprise of four-poster beds, one of which has a jacuzzi air bath. Private swimming pool for guest use in the south facing garden. We have ground floor accommodation. Outdoor swimming pool and 6 man hot tub (seasonal).
