Everything we do is aimed at providing a caring, safe and educational environment for your child to learn and to have fun in.
At Busy Bees, we strive to create an environment that enables every child to develop socially and emotionally, as well as building key educational skills in all areas of learning. Within a friendly and supportive atmosphere where children have the independence to decide what toys and activities to engage with, we make every effort to meet the individual needs of each child. With the increasing number of parents now back at work to support their families,as well as the increasing strain of a recession, we feel that it is important to provide the best service that can be flexible to any individual needs of the parents in the community. Through providing sessional care, childcare care can be adapted with the arrangements centred around your own schedule. We pride ourself on a sense of community, creating a support network between the families, their children, carers & every member of staff, where we are working together to provide the best childcare possible! Garden Cottage Nursery School is an ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted) Child Care Setting, nestled in the beautiful South Downs. We are open all year round for children aged 0-5 years old and we are located within the idyllic grounds of Highden Farm Washington. Our children have frequently progressed into Schools located around Ashington,The Vale, Findon, Worthing, Horsham, Storrington, Steyning, West Chiltington, and Shipley. We are very proud that the children get the best possible start to their school life and as Ofsted quoted “the quality of teaching Is exceptional.” The children really enjoy caring for the chickens, sheep and donkeys, Red and Wonky. We are so lucky to have a Forest School and Walled Garden where the children grow and eat their own produce.
